Most of the time, you can cancel your policy in your Swift Space online account.
There are some situations where you might not be able to - for example, if you’ve got any outstanding actions or changes on your account.

Unfortunately, we can’t offer any refund if any claim or accident giving rise to a claim has occurred.
By law, you’re entitled to a minimum 14-day cooling-off period, during which you can cancel your policy.
There are two ways to cancel:
- Back to the start date. This is your statutory right - and payment will be returned in full. If you cancel, it means that your car wasn’t insured by us.
- We can cover you for up to 14 days. If you cancel within this period, we’ll issue a pro-rata refund, so you only pay for the time you’ve been covered by Swiftcover.
If you cancel your insurance 14 days after the start date of your policy, you’ll need to pay a £52.50 cancellation fee as well as a pro-rata payment that takes into consideration the time you’ve been covered by us.
